Happy Birthday to our in-house bacon lover, automobile aficionado, and software developer! Jeff Burton is a vital addition to the EventBooking team and we’re excited to celebrate him today.  Get to know him a little more in our latest Coffee & Conversation feature: 

Q. What is your role at EventBooking and what do you like about that role?

A. Senior Software Developer—I get to work with people smarter than me; helps the brain grow.

Q. Describe your “perfect” meal, complete with dessert.

A. Steak, ribs, salad, and banana pudding

Q. What’s something about you that might surprise people?

A. I am a fledgling botanist.

Q. What something you know more about than most people?

A. Cars

Q. What is one of your favorite places that you’ve traveled to? Why?

A. Tooele, Utah (just south of Salt Lake City). There’s a great 4.4 mile road course just outside the city limits. Why is it a favorite? Because I have the need for speed.

Q. What’s your favorite movie? Favorite book (or favorite Artist/Band)?

A. Movie: Forrest Gump

Q. If you could have dinner with one person (living or dead) who would it be?

A. General Douglas MacArthur

Q. What’s something you’re passionate about?

A. Helping those who are afraid to ask for help or feel they don’t deserve it.

Q. What would you tell yourself 10 years ago?

A. Work out harder…and put more in the 401k.

Q. If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?

A. Cooking

Q. Who inspires you?

A. My Mom

Q. What are your personal hobbies?

A. Engine building, road racing, gunsmithing, golf, botany, astronomy, and video games
