EventBooking.com added two new staff members to its customer service arm June 18, 2008. Company president John Platillero emphasized that company growth prompted their decision to hire two new people to the team. "Between major new software developments and the addition of several major new accounts, we simply need help communicating about, and supporting our services."

Tania Matthews will be training with Director of Customer Services Evelyn Ingram, assisting with customer service, sales and marketing. "We are extremely excited to bring Tania onboard." Ingram said. "Her background and skills, her expertise will contribute greatly to expanding our customer base, to enhancing our customer service initiative, and assisting with marketing."

Chris Lamm will be working with the tech team, keeping them informed about the customers' needs, and testing the newly -released Beta user interface. "We are very committed to quality assurance, " Chief Technical Officer Rob Scott said. "Chris Lamm will be doing technical support, phone support for the customers, and e-mail support, and he will also be doing a lot of the testing." Lamm will help develop automated regression testing for the Beta user interface, a testing application that logs in as a user and automatically screens for all known bugs to prevent them from reappearing in the system.

Chris Lamm graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Knoxville in information technology with honors and an emphasis on multimedia. He brings more than six years experience in building and managing personal and commercial Web sites. He also managed the online advertising and IT business for the Oak Ridger newspaper for three years.

Tania Matthews graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in communication with highest honors and an emphasis in public relations. She worked with the marketing team at China Telecom Americas near Washington D.C. helping to promote CT America's virtual private networks to multi-national companies. Locally she worked for Cedar Spring Presbyterian Church in Knoxville as an event planner and conference administrator.
