EventBooking.com Releases the New E-Center Web Site (posted May 12, 2009)

EventBooking.com designed and released the new web site for their Salt Lake Valley client the E-Center at www.theecenter.com April 17, 2009.

“When it can down to selecting a web development company, it was an easy choice. We've been extremely pleased with the customer service that EB has provided for years,” E-Center Director of Marketing, Julie Hoffman said.

“EB understands the industry and they have the resources to design and program any web site that is intended to meet the demands of the live event industry of today.”

Kevin Bruder, General Manager of the E-Center also referenced the longstanding relationship between the E-Center and EventBooking.  “We presented to them our objectives related to the E-Center web site and EventBooking delivered on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the new web site.”

Located in one of Utah's premier entertainment areas, the E-Center's high-packed action includes the Utah Grizzlies resident hockey team and entertainment acts ranging from Monster Trucks and Cirque du Soleil to American Idol musicians and rock concerts.

With so much going on in the building, the EB interface between the booking calendar and the marketing web site is a huge plus.

“EB Smartsite provides an event booking program that interfaces directly with our venue web site. Once an arena event gets confirmed on the calendar, the Marketing Dept. can simply click on that date, add publicity information in the form of pictures, start times, restrictions, buy ticket links, more information, contact info, seating charts, audio links and video links,” Hoffman said.

“It all shows up on our site in a matter of seconds. The interface couldn't possibly be any easier. It makes so much sense to partner with EB, especially within the live entertainment industry.”

The distinguishing feature of the new E-Center web site is a large, rotating header gallery that follows a visitor through the web site, displaying page-appropriate images from the E-Center.

Featuring the photography of Greg L. Wright, the header showcases the E-Center's wide scope of entertainment acts on ticketing and events pages. For the meetings and banquets pages, the E-Center web site header displays mouth-watering food and beverage set-ups from Diamond Creations' exclusive concessions/catering services.

“We want customers to feel like they are here at the E-Center,” Hoffman said. “The website provides audio and video links as well as a plethora of great pictures for all to enjoy.”

The new E-Center website is also a one-stop shop for customers needing directions and/or parking information, access to ticketing and Cyber Club sign-up, and services for individuals with disabilities. The E-Center FAQ section displays in a collapsed accordion box so customers do not have to scroll down the page to find what they are looking for.

A password-protected link from the E-Center homepage lets promoters access the information they need without making it available to the general public.

“Now that our website is up and running, it has a refreshing new look,” Hoffman said. “The sound and audio capabilities are in place, the navigation is simple and straight-forward, the design is trendy yet clean, and the images pop off the page…Buying tickets is easy. Contacting us is easy. Spending more time on www.theecenter.com is easy because it's fun for fans to be there.”
