EventBooking.com clients booked more than 250,000 events with the EventBooking.com program from June 1, 2008, to June 1, 2009.
The real numeral count for events scheduled in the EventBooking.com program in the last year is 269,969, excluding Beta customers. This represents millions of dollars in industry revenue.
“The heavy usage of the EventBooking program testifies to its value and usability,” Evelyn Ingram, EventBooking.com Director of Sales said. “EventBooking.com is becoming an indispensable tool for many in the live event industry.”
The number of events booked this year is even more outstanding given that many EventBooking.com users have view-only or marketing access and do not book events on the calendar.
All 269,969 events from the past year and all events entered by clients since EventBooking's launch in 1999 are still instantly accessible to clients via their booking calendars, with all related documents and media attachments. A computer crash does not slow EB clients down because they can log in from another location without having to reinstall anything.
“All data—new and old—is treated with the same importance,” EventBooking.com. CTO Rob Scott said. Scott explained how a new backup for the entire data repository for EventBooking.com is created every 24 hours and securely stored in more than one site location.
“The safety and security of our customers' data is extremely important to us,” Scott said.
EB clients also sent more than 13,000 venue avails e-mails from EventBooking.com in the past year.
