Q. What is your role at EventBooking and what do you like about that role?

A. Officially, I’m the Director of Client Success. That’s a fancy way of saying that I’m a people-loving, problem-solving, solution-creating, ninja! Each day brings new opportunities to serve EB clients worldwide. I thrive in this role since it combines creativity, technology, and relationships. It’s an honor to be the “face” of EventBooking. I really light up when I witness a client having a “wow” moment. “Wow” moments come in various forms, whether it’s somebody learning something new, improving a current process, saving time with an EB report, or something else. It’s a joy to serve EB users and facilitate the learning process. Also, I love my leader and teammates. They’re brilliant, talented, funny, and caring. Go team!

Q. Describe your “perfect” meal, complete with dessert.

A. Grilled teriyaki chicken and pineapple, gourmet cheeses with crackers, and wheatberry salad. Dessert: Key Lime Pie

Q. What’s something about you that might surprise people?

A. Last year, I rode a legit roller coaster for the first time ever. It was incredible! I can’t believe I let that fear rule over me for so many years.

Q. What is one of your favorite places that you’ve traveled to? Why?

A. India. I must go back! It’s a magical place, filled with diverse landscapes, colors, cultures, languages, and people. My trip culminated with an epic day of hiking to a summit in the Himalayas.

Q. What are your favorite movies? Favorite books? (or favorite Artist/Band)?

A. Movies: The Intouchables, Forrest Gump

Books: Bible, The Ragamuffin Gospel

Q. What’s something you’re passionate about?

A. Coffee. My dream trip would be to fly to Kenya or Costa Rica to stay and learn at a coffee farm.

Q. Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

A. “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Nearly a decade ago, I opened my high school graduation speech with this quote. I think of it often. I’ve personally experienced much beauty and growth through taking risks. I don’t want to arrive at age 50 and wonder, “what if…”

Q. If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?

A. Playing golf.  I’m excited to take lessons this spring. I plan to play till I’m a super old granny.

Q. Who inspires you?

A. My parents.

Q. What are your personal hobbies?

A. Traveling, finding treasures at thrift stores, listening to podcasts, cooking, rock climbing, inline skating, and farming.

Happy Birthday, Kieley! Thanks for all you do!
