Happy Birthday to our very own, Mike Walters! Mike is a huge asset to our development team and EventBooking as a whole. We are so appreciative of all he does and who he is, dry sense of humor included. Get to know him a little better through our latest Coffee & Conversation.

Q. What is your role at EventBooking and what do you like about that role?

A. Software Architect—I have the freedom to play around with new technologies to see if they can improve engineering stack. I lean toward the creative side of life and this fulfills just a little bit of that need.

Q. Describe your “perfect” meal, complete with dessert.

A. Sushi with a beer, no need for dessert.

Q. What’s something about you that might surprise people?

A. I left college to go live the beach life for a while. After to returning to college, I made better grades and had more direction in what I wanted to do in life.

Q. What is one of your favorite places that you’ve traveled to? Why?

A. New Orleans—I took my family there because my step-daughter always wanted to go, and we had a really fun time.

A. Favorite Movie: Fight Club

 Q. If you could have dinner with one person (living or dead) who would it be?

A. Elon Musk

Q. What’s something you’re passionate about?

A. Art, Building things, Travel, Technologies.

Q.What would you tell yourself 10 years ago?

A. Everyone is as clueless in old age as they are when young.

Q. If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?

A. Mastering the art of business deals.

Q. Who inspires you?

A. People who create things.

Q. What are your personal hobbies?

A. Skiing, Frisbee golf, Fantasy football, Biking, Travel.
