At EventBooking, our mission is to improve the lives of venue professionals. We do this by providing software that simplifies their day-to-day jobs and enables them to spend more time doing the things they love.
We have a history of helping venues, and the teams within them, flourish. In 1999, founder & CEO John Platillero saw the need for an online way for venues to book and manage events. His vision was a simple but powerful one—to create a tool for venue professionals to access, manage, and share event information from anywhere in real time. Not a novel concept today, but it was for the late 1990s. In those days, no one was using 100% web-based software—or “cloud based” as we know it today.
EventBooking not only survived the “dot com” burst of the early 2000s but steadily grew, attracting venue networks such as ASM Global and Spectra.
Today, EventBooking serves over 1,000 arenas, convention centers, multi-complexes, performing arts centers, and more across 24 countries—including the new SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles), San Diego Convention Center (San Diego), Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (Shanghai), Dubai Arena (Dubai), The Shed (NYC), and Fox Theatre (Atlanta).

Our business model is “Software as a Service ” and we really mean it. A Servant’s Heart is required to work at EventBooking. It’s the cornerstone of our 4 core values.
No process or solution is ever completely finished. EventBooking was born from an innovative idea, and we’ve grown because of that ongoing pursuit of innovation.
