ATLANTA, GA—April 12, 2017 – Marking his third award won this year, Brian Chia, Director of Client Services at EventBooking, was once again recognized for his customer service efforts. The National Customer Service Association (NCSA) designated Brian as the 2017 Service Person of the Year on Wednesday, April 12th at their annual conference and award ceremony.
Chia was recognized for his role at EventBooking, an industry-leading software company that specializes in web-based venue management & booking products. He leads a Client Success team that serves over 10,000 individual users. The NCSA Service Person of the Year designation is presented to an individual who best exemplifies “putting the customer first.”
This award comes after winning two other award designations for customer service: Young Customer Service Professional of the Year (awarded by the Stevie Awards) and the Generation Next Award (awarded by Venues Today).
As part of his nomination, EventBooking stated: “Brian’s ability to quickly customize the best solution for each client is invaluable as he travels to venues in-person to perform more in-depth assistance and training. His dedication to personalized customer support has taken him all over the world, from London to Beijing. It was a natural decision to nominate Brian, given his passion for putting our customers first.”
The NCSA Selection Committee commented that it was hard work to select this year’s winners from the many nominees, stating, “The overall volume of nominations received reflects a growing commitment to excellence in service across this country. It should be noted that the criteria for winning an award was intentionally stringent. Thus, the award winners represent the ‘best-of-the-best’ in customer service in this nation.”
