In 1995, when I quit my job as an electrical engineer, I never could have imagined it would lead to where I am today…leading an incredibly talented group of friends who deeply care about building awesome solutions for people in the live events industry. The world is SO much different now! I remember numerous road trips showing our web-based software to find out that only two people in the venue had dial-up access; pretty tough road those first five years. But we survived and learned so much and made great friends. In fact, we have people like Pam DeVille (Cajundome Arena), Roger Newton (Bi-Lo Center), Lisa Chamness (Freedom Hall) and Tim Reese (Thompson Boling Arena) who have been with us since day one of our launch in February 1999.
Well, the past is fun to reminisce about, but today we celebrate the future. With the launch of our new re-designed website and this blog, we are excited to more actively engage in conversation with our clients and with the industry at large. We hope to post relevant articles that are worthy of your time. We hope to hear your thoughts and ideas for how we can get better. It is an exciting time for all of us. The internet has made us all more aware of amazing talents. Venues are getting major upgrades and enhancements that make the experience excellent. The production quality is ridiculous…in fact, I saw Ellie Goulding recently at The O2 in London and was amazed at the sound and video production quality.
Here’s to a new era of a more connected EB! Thanks for following along.
